California Representative Mike Garcia has sold his soul to AIPAC, and his the exercise of his legislative voting for Pro-Israel bills reflects that. Just this past July, Mike Garcia released a statement in support of convicted war criminal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Congress. Mike’s statement reads, “The people’s House stands with Israel. It was an honor to attend Prime Minister Netanyahu’s joint address to Congress, and his remarks serve as an important reminder of the reality we face.” The reality we are actually facing is that members of the Congress like Representative Mike Garcia applauded a convicted war criminal by international courts for his indiscriminate destruction of Gaza through collective punishment. To make matters worse, Garcia has signed onto a bill The Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act (ICCA), which aims to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and any foreign entities that support the ICC's efforts to arrest, detain, or prosecute individuals protected by the United States and its allies such as Benjamin Netanyahu.

A notable bill Glib Garcia has signed onto in April 2024 is the Strengthening the Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion to spend on weaponry. This funding aligns with the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Israel, which was established in 2016 and outlines a commitment of $38 billion in military assistance over a ten-year period. Then the following month, Glib Garcia signed the Israel Security Assistance Support Act, H.R. 8369, which ensures there are no federal funds withheld from Israel used for their military. This bill was written and introduced to Congress 8 months into Israel’s genocide of Gazans.
