It’s no surprise Senator Alex Padilla is quickly raking in money from the Zionist lobby as he has used his seat in Congress to ensure Israel is equipped with billions of dollars in arms to use to commit genocide in Gaza. In Sen. Padilla’s statement on the one year anniversary of Israel’s genocide campaign in Gaza, he made no mention of the over 200,000 Palestinians murdered by Israel and instead undermined their extermination by choosing to highlight the Israelis killed on October 7 2023. Pathetic Padilla manufactures consent for Israel’s genocide campaign in Gaza and greater occupation of Palestine by characterizing them as matters of “national security.”
CODEPINKers in San Francisco disrupted an event Padilla was having in October of 2024, where they successfully pressured him to call for a ceasefire for the first time — after a year of genocide and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians murdered with weapons he sent to Israel.
