California Representative Brad Sherman is no stranger to AIPAC lobbyist and his unequivocal support for Israel's terror of Palestine. Brad’s support and justification for Israel’s recent war crimes is heavily documented, earning him the nickname Shameless Sherman. On Sherman’s U.S. Israel relation government landing page stated, “Congressman Sherman has served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee where he has worked to support the U.S. alliance with Israel for 27 years. Sherman is currently the Co-Chair of the House Israel Allied Caucus and the most senior Democrat on the House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group.” In 2020 when the reelection for the next chairman for the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) occurred, Brad Sherman was questioned if he should be considered for the position since his politics related to Israel-Palestine has been one-sided. Shameless Sherman commented backing his connection to AIPAC by stating, “I think there is not a single committee chair on any committee in the House of Representatives that does not meet with and does not receive contributions from groups and organizations that care about what the committee does,” Sherman doesn’t shy away from letting his financial ties to Israel be known, bring shame to the state of California.
Shameful Sherman’s has demonstrated his support for Israel through his voting power to send money to protect Israel’s military interests. The most notable bill he’s signed onto is the Strengthening the Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion for their genocide operation in Palestine. Brad defended his vote by stating, “War is chaotic, and urban warfare more so. I believe that Israel is doing as good a job as can be done and is working hard to avoid civilian casualties. I believe Israel is meeting these standards.” The standard Shameful Sherman believes is acceptable and has claimed the lives of over 39,000 innocent plus Palestinians, including over 15,000 children.
