Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith has gone above and beyond to support Israel, and has justified the current collective punishment of over 2 million Gazans stuck in the strip. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith has earned her moniker Cold-Hearted Cindy for her indiscriminate negative views of all Gazans. It comes to no surprise that Cold-Hearted Cindy had signed onto the Strengthening of Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion to spend on their genocidal project of Gaza. This funding aligns with the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Israel, which was established in 2016 and outlines a commitment of $38 billion in military assistance over a ten-year period. Senator Hyde-Smith’s government landing page writes, “Cindy stands with Israel, a strong ally that shares our democratic values. She recognizes Israel as an oasis of freedom, tolerance, and economic prosperity in an unstable region of the world.” Senator Cindy was correct to connect the United States of America’s democratic values to Israel, as they are both colonial projects that seek to eliminate and oppress the indigenous populations. Cindy also spoke of Israel as being an “oasis,” which is incredibly insulting as Israel is in its 11 month of non-stop bombardments of Gaza.
A month after signing the Strengthening of Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, Cold-Hearted Cindy co-sponsored the Israel Security Assistance Support Act in May 14,2024. The Israel Security Assistance Support Act would require the Biden administration to finalize the transfer of weapons to Israel. Additionally, it would revoke the salaries of any officials within the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Department of State who attempt to block this delivery. Just 10 days prior to that bill, Cold-Hearted Cindy took to twitter to ban refugees from Gaza from entering the U.S. since the administration couldn’t “vet” them for connections to terrorists. According to Cindy, Khalill Abushaya, a 13 year-old Gazan child, who lost both of his legs in a bombing last April that arrived in Chicago for medical treatment shouldn’t be allowed. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith has sold her soul to her campaign contributor AIPAC in exchange for loyalty to push Pro-Israel legislation and abandon Palestinian lives. The price of her soul is $146,607.
