Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska has consistently demonstrated unwavering support for Israel, influenced by the $131,183 he has received from AIPAC. His alignment with pro-Israel interests is evident in his voting record and public statements, which have consistently favored Israel's military actions, even as they have resulted in significant civilian casualties in Gaza. As of August 2024, the death toll in Gaza has neared 40,000 civilians, with 16,500 of those being children. According to the Lancet, it is projected that 180,000 Gazans will die as a result of the ongoing genocide. Despite these staggering figures, Sullivan's rhetoric remains firmly pro-Israel, as demonstrated by his October 2023 visit to Israel, where he expressed support for Israel's actions, stating that the nation has the right to "defend itself and defeat and crush the Hamas terrorists."

In May 2024, Sullivan further solidified his position by introducing legislation that bars U.S. cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has charged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a list of war crimes, including genocide. Sullivan’s legislation also cuts economic support funds to the Palestinian Authority, reinforcing his commitment to Israel even as the country faces credible accusations of genocide. Dan justified his legislation by stating, “Israel is facing a threat to its very existence from a barbaric enemy that actually uses civilians as human shields and welcomes civilian casualties as part of its strategy. We must end American cooperation with this rogue organization and stand firmly with our strongest ally in the Middle East—the only democracy in the region.” It’s incredibly alarming that Senator Dan Sullivan is defending a foreign country committing genocide, and calling Gazans “barbaric,” a racial slur used on people of Arab descent.

Senator Sullivan has also been vocal in his criticism of the Biden administration's partial arms embargo on Israel, which has delayed the delivery of weapons to the Israeli military for a brief while. As Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza extended into its 11th month, Sullivan lambasted the administration for "appeasing far-left radicals,” which happen to be U.S. tax paying constituents that do not want their taxes spent to commit genocide. His staunch defense of Israel highlights his deep alignment with AIPAC, revealing that his ethics have been compromised and influenced by AIPAC's contributions, leading him to maintain a Pro-Israel stance regardless of the mounting death toll.
