Massachusetts Representative Jake Auchincloss is a reflection of what AIPAC and Israel stands for by reinforcing their talking point in Congress. Jarring Jake has earned his nickname due to his uncensored and ignorant views on Palestine. Jarring Jake has taken every opportunity to use his legislative voting power to vote in favor for Pro-Israel bills and anti-Palestinian/BDS bills. So it comes as no surprise that Representative Jake Auchincloss signed onto the Strengthening of Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion in unconditional military aid. These funds Jake Auchincloss approved of allowed Israel to kill over 39,000 Palestinian civilians, including 15,000 children included in that death toll.

When Jake was asked about his views on how Israel has handled Gazans recently he responded, “This is about a liberal democracy versus an evil terrorist cult.” Then he continued to admit that his support for Israel has not changed despite Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. In Jake’s more recent interview with the Jewish Insider in July 2024, the Massachusetts’ Representative was asked if Israel can defeat Hamas to which he responded, “Yes.” What’s more concerning is that Jake continued by stating, “People like to say, ‘Oh, you can’t defeat an ideology,’ Does that mean that there is no human being in Gaza who subscribes to Islamist terrorism? No, of course, not.” Jarring Jake is backing Israel’s use of collective punishment in Gaza, and will use his voting power to fund it. It’s important to note that Jarring Jake voted against the Bush/Tlaib Ceasefire resolution and an arms embargo to Israel. Jake also voted against the McCollum Palestinian rights resolution, which bars the Israeli government from using U.S. taxpayer funds in the Occupied West Bank for the military detention, mistreatment, or abuse of Palestinian children in Israeli custody.

The Massachusetts Representative Jake Auchincloss’ answer for what should he done with the Gazans still alive after Israel decides to end the genocide is equally horrific. He believes that there Israel should invest in, “security, infrastructure, economic development, education that just increase standards of living for Palestinians so that they are not being educated into or subscribe to a death cult’s ideology.” Jake’s answer is absurd considering that since October 2023 almost 90% of school buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed by Israel, with no universities remaining intact. Representative Jake Auchincloss has no soul and will reinforce Israel’s terror regime through his legislation voting power as long as AIPAC’s checks clear.
