North Dakota Senator John Hoeven has been bought out by Israeli lobbyist groups since 2016, making the price of his soul $334,296. Heartless Hoeven has been nothing short of his nickname with his most recent signing of the Strengthening the Israel-U.S. Alliance Act that aids Israel with $3.8 billion in U.S. tax dollars to fund Israeli genocidal operations in Gaza.
To add insult to injury, Heartless Hoeven has advocated for the passing of an additional $14 billion emergency supplemental funding for Israel. Early January of 2024 Senator Hoeven was among the group of politicians that met with over 100 Pro-Israel Jewish lobby leaders to discuss in full detail the main point of the supplementary should incorporate to satisfy the lobby leaders. The supplementary includes the following provisions; defund UNRWA due to their unsupported belief that the humanitarian organization’s ties to Hamas, $200 million for funding federal nonprofit security grants for Israeli-related domestic policies, $305 million funneled into Homeland Security appropriations bill, and the passing of the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act aimed to censor pro-Palestine protests and actions on U.S. college campuses.
Heartless Hoeven had stated during a press conference that, “Israel must be allowed to fully defeat Hamas in order to prevent another attack like what occurred on October 7th. It makes no sense to hold back military aid,... when it includes the kinds of systems that would allow for more targeted strikes that reduce the risk to civilians.” Nowhere in Heartless Hoeven’s statement did he ever mention the horrors inflicted onto the Palestinian population, as Israel’s genocide as claimed over 39,000 Palestinian innocent lives.
