California Representative Michelle Steel is a loud and proud supporter of Israel and their colonial project of Palestine. Slanderous Steel has earned her nickname with her multiple false smear campaigns against muslim and Arab organizations. Proving that there are no limits to her support for Israel and AIPAC. Similar to her colleagues, Michelle Steel signed onto the Strengthening the Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion to spend on weaponry. This funding aligns with the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Israel, which was established in 2016 and outlines a commitment of $38 billion in military assistance over a ten-year period. This money has allowed Israel to bomb healthcare facilities 167 times in Gaza since October 2023, killing over 198 medical staff. Despite these horrific facts, Representative Michelle Steel has continued to spread lies in order to keep her pockets full with AIPAC money.
In a February 2024 press release Slanderous Steel called the Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) and Pro-Palestine protests terrorist with no evidence. Slanderous Steel wrote, “As Israel fights for its right to exist against terrorists determined to wipe it from the map, here in America, groups like the Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) have made their purpose clear. CAIR openly supported the terrorist campaign of annihilation and the mass rape, torture, and murder of Israeli civilians including women and children led by Hamas.” CAIR has denied these claims and has asked Steel to apologize for her false accusations. What Slanderous Steel does not realize is that her and Israel’s accusations are omission of guilt, especially the claims of torture. In 1987, Israel was the sole country where torture was legally permitted. Then in 2018, a subsequent ruling relaxed the criteria for justifying torture, further entrenching its institutionalization. The stories of torture have gotten worse since Israel’s genocide campaign started in October. Michelle Steel has sold her soul, and her price is $264,730.
