Similar to his Illinois counterparts, Democratic Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi has sold his vote to Israeli lobby groups in exchange for unwavering legislative financial support to Israel's military regime. Rotten Raja stated in a January 2024 press conference that, “Prime Minister Netanyahu’s rejection of a two-state solution is unacceptable. After decades of violence, the Israeli and Palestinian people deserve to live safely and freely within secure borders.” Although Krishnamoorthi publicly condemned Netanyahu just last year, he supported the Strengthening the Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which allocated $3.8 billion in U.S. tax dollars to fund the Israeli genocide project in the Gaza Strip.

Illinois Representative Krishnamoorthi, who lives in the state with the largest Palestinian population in the U.S., continues to use his voting power to maintain his financial ties with Israel, a foreign entity. Rotten Raja has been securing Israeli lobby interests in Congress since 2017. Krishnamoorthi has also stated, “I commend the efforts thus far of all parties—including Israel, Egypt, Qatar, and the Biden Administration— negotiating a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, where Hamas would release hostages, and humanitarian aid would reach Palestinians in Gaza.” A misleading statement, given that Israel has rejected all of the ceasefire resolutions since this genocide started in October 2023. Representative Krishnamoorthi had sold his soul, neglecting the needs of his constituents.
