Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson has supported Israel since first being elected into Congress in 2010, and has taken campaign funds from AIPAC. On Rash Ron’s government page he stated, “Israel has every right to defend itself against Hamas’s horrific terrorist attacks. The Biden Administration must support our ally, Israel, and stop handing over billions of dollars to Hamas’s patron, Iran.” It was a surprise when Rash Ron voted against the Strengthening of Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion to spend on their military. Senator Ron Johnson did not vote against the bill because he opposes Israel’s collective punishment methods on Gazans, but instead did not vote because it didn’t include money to spend fortifying the U.S. Mexico border.
On December 2023, Senator Ron Johnson stated on the Wisconsin Public Radio, “I think at some point in time, Israel is just going to have to basically dictate and have jurisdiction over these lands, if they ever expect to have peace,” then continued, “(Israel is) going to have to enforce laws, they’re going to have to weed out terrorists, and (if) Palestinians don’t like it, they ought to be open to go to other Arab states that hopefully would accept them.” Rash Ron went on public radio to encourage Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Gaza 3 months into the genocide. Senator Ron also signed onto the Combating BDS Act of 2017, aimed at countering the boycott movement against Israel, attacking free speech concerning Palestine on college campuses. Senator Ron Johnson has sold his soul to AIPAC, and shown he has no regard for Palestinian lives.
