Senator Tim Kaine has accepted $639,095 from the pro-Israel lobby in exchange for his integrity in the U.S. Congress. Tim Kaine has been using his voting power to push AIPAC’s agenda to fund Israel’s military and repress Palestinians in the diaspora since 2018. Terror Tim has signed off on the Strengthening of Israel-U.S. Alliance Act, which provides Israel with $3.8 billion in unconditional military aid. This funding is consistent with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement between the U.S. and Israel, which was set up in 2016 and specifies a $38 billion of U.S. tax dollars committed to assist Israel’s military over a 10 year period.
On Senator Tim Kaine’s government website he wrote, “I remain deeply distressed by the daily reports of new and horrific developments in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Hostages taken by Hamas during its vicious attack nearly six months ago—including six Americans—have not been released. Thousands of Israeli families have been displaced from their homes. Tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians have been killed.” What Terror Tim failed to mention was during Israel’s colonization of historic Palestine in 1948 over 700,000 Palestinians were displaced, and their villages were taken away to make what is present day Israel. More recently since October 2023, over 2 million Gazans have been displaced, with the destruction of around 62% of the homes in the area. Terror Tim makes no mention of the 17 year old, Florida born Palestinian U.S. citizen who was murdered by Israeli soldiers in January 2024 in the West Bank. And no outcry from Tim when Israeli forces fatally shot Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh with a single bullet to the head while she was reporting from the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank in 2022. The list of war crimes are endless, yet Tim mentions Palestinian suffering for one line in his speech.
In many of Terror Tim’s speeches he specifies how there must be a ceasefire and Palestinians should not be experiencing collective punishment. Terror Tim is aware of Israel’s long list of war crimes, and panders to his constituents to express he cares for both sides. Meanwhile he approves of arms sales that kill Palestinians he claims to have sympathy for. Senator Tim also wrote on his website, “The Israeli strike on a World Central Kitchen humanitarian aid convoy this week crystallizes the frustration that is at a boiling point.” Those workers were tragically killed by an Israeli missile strike in April 2024, the same month Senator Tim approved sending $3.8 billion to Israel’s military. More insulting is that Senator Tim voted to cut U.S. funding for UNRWA, a United Nations humanitarian organization in Gaza in March 2024. Terror Tim does not care about humanity, he cares about protecting his campaign funds from AIPAC, and will protect their interests in Congress no matter how many people die.
